Job Title: Shipping Material Handler
Job Description
Facilitate the efficient and accurate shipping of finished product. The Shipping Material Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand the manufacturing workflow. Employee will be hands on in the preparation, packaging and load out of completed product.
Responsibilities
Prepare, package, and load out completed products.
Operate forklift to handle materials efficiently.
Ensure accurate shipping of finished products.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing workflow.
Meet critical deadlines and schedules.
Essential Skills
Forklift operation with 2+ years of experience
Material handling
Inventory management
Picking and packing
Loading and packaging
Previous experience in construction, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
Previous shipping and/or receiving experience
Ability to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds throughout the workday
Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to track, retain, and integrate information
Ability to confidently interface with all levels of company organization
Fluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
