The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Enterprise Data Protection Services Multiple Operations Security Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA .

This specialist will be responsible for providing standardized and integrated data protection solutions and compliance oversight to support the internal Boeing business units and will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Boeing Enterprise Security – Enterprise Data Protection Services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies and procedures

  • Consults with and advises management, functional and cross-functional teams regarding company data protection planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, and information

  • Participates in developing and maintaining operating policies and procedures and manages ongoing organizational processes pertinent to the Boeing Enterprise Security mission

  • Oversees the strategic coordination and integration of data protection activities to enhance operations

  • Performs risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and trends

  • Conducts investigative interviews and generates investigative reports, and solicits additional assistance, as needed

  • Communicates with management and employees, other security entities, Global Trade Controls, Corporate Investigations, Law Department and/or Human Resources on investigative results

  • Assists in the development of security training materials and delivers training from provided materials

  • Interprets requirements, develops procedures and monitors practices to ensure compliance with company and government requirements

  • Designs, develops, and implements of Security Control Plans to protect sensitive data Export Administration Regulations (EAR)/International Traffic & Arms Regulations (ITAR), Personably Identifiable Information (PII), Critical Technical Information (CTI), etc.

  • Provides security support for special projects/events

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with security operations and program protection

  • 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives

  • 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with sensitive information and safeguarding confidential information

  • Experience with presentation skills for multiple audiences, including executive leadership

  • Written and verbal communication expertise for interaction in dynamic executive environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Work Shift:

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $85,000 - $115,000
