Description This is a combined posting for a Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Laboratory Scientist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Medical Laboratory Technician Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in related sciences. Or equivalent educ/experience. Associate's degree with ASCP/ASCPi/AMT Certification as a MLT 6months post hire. Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists. Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government. All certifications must be maintained throughout duration of employment. Continuing education requirements required to maintain license must be completed.
