Boeing is currently seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector Boeing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) to join our teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett, WA .

In this role you will be responsible for performing production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems and sub-systems. This includes electrical and avionics on standard or experimental certificated aircraft. As part of your duties, you may be required to travel to various locations, both domestic and foreign. It is important to note that this position will require you to obtain a passport.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Boeing products in the Puget Sound and abroad.

  • Functional Test, Avionics, and Electrical Technician work.

  • Structural Mechanic and Composite Repair Technician rework.

  • Travel anytime, anywhere with little to no advance notice.

  • Accept assignments on any shift.

  • Operate computing equipment to access job information.

  • Work with Boeing drawings.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be require to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Have knowledge and experience of aircraft mechanical component and repair procedures.

  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Able to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

  • Must be willing and capable of travel both domestically and internationally with short notice for extended periods, anywhere in the world and for potentially extended periods of time, with the ability to obtain and possess a current passport.

  • Experience reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals.

  • Be willing and able to work outdoors in extreme cold weather conditions.

  • Experience using and understanding various precision measuring tools.

  • Be able to use verbal and written communication skills with leaders and colleagues in an operations environment.

  • Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Must be able to operate ground equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently holds an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and/or an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) license.

  • At least 5 years aircraft manufacturing experience associated with Boeing wide/single body aircraft models.

Union Representation:

Shift:

Required to travel to various locations, both domestic and foreign, on any shift.

Summary Pay Range : $33.10 - $39.10
