PURPOSE: The Blue Clover Industrial Design Intern will receive real world experience working on some the world’s leading consumer goods brands. You will be part of a professional design studio within a premier global packaging manufacturer where you will learn how integrate highly creative ideas and manufacturing processes. RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Brainstorming and ideation

• Idea generation and capturing through analog and digital sketching

• SolidWorks 3D solid/surface modeling & rendering

• Professional storyboarding of ideas and concepts

• Observation, sketching and note taking during focus group testing

• Learn design for manufacturability

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Design

• High energy and plays well in a team environment

• Strong core design competencies: sketching, concept ideation, presenting and problem-solving

• Solid or Surface modeling experience, preferably SolidWorks

• Knowledge of model making, specifically 3D printing and stereo-lithography

• Good listening skills and note taking

• Confident and articulate presenter

• Strong organizational skills
