Job Overview :

Under supervision of Construction Manager, employees will perform a variety of rigorous physical tasks outdoors in all types of weather in support of cleanup of contaminated soils from residences throughout Jacobsville, IN.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Climb ladders, dig holes and trenches, clean up construction debris, load and unload construction materials from trucks both manually and with lifting equipment

  • Remove, fill, or compact earth, hand dig around foundations and utilities, pour concrete, lay asphalt, handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials

  • Operate hand tools and power tools, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials

  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work outside in all types of weather

  • Minimum 3 years' experience and live locally (daily commute) to Jacobsville (Evansville), IN.

  • Previous environmental project work preferred.

  • Requires physical strength, stamina, flexibility, and dexterity

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen

  • Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training.
