Job Description: As a Lab Technician specializing in metals testing, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tests and analyses on metals and alloys used in the manufacturing process. You will work in a lab setting and collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure that all metal materials meet the necessary specifications for strength, durability, and performance. *Responsibilities:*
- End-of-line product testing
- Work safely in an environment where samples must be processed to test size using shears and punches, and tests use various chemicals including sulfuric acid, MEK, hexanes, etc
- Conducting tests including coating strip weights, lube strip weights, color Yi, physical properties, adhesion, etc.
*Requirements: *
- 1+ yrs of laboratory experience in a manufacturing setting (metal testing preferred)
- 1+ years of working with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to work safely in a lab environment
- Valid Drivers License
