Group Home Assistant Manager -

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center has created eight welcoming Group Homes to provide the best possible care for the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that we are blessed to serve. For over 30 years, our homes have provided a kind, safe, and caring environment that our clients, their families, and the community have come to know, trust, and respect.

MAKE A HEART CONNECTION WITH EASTERSEALS!

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Provide outstanding care to all clients by assisting with personal care, medical care, and daily living skills.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with all Direct Care Staff and build retention strategies to support staff members.
  • Support Group Home Manager by participating in Group Home administration duties, such as assisting with financial statements, maintaining medical equipment, and assisting with client doctor appointments.
  • Have fun planning and participating in our client's favorite activities and going on outings in the community!
  • Maintain availability to assist with after-hours support and call-ins.

Additionally, you will support both our clients by providing direct care, including assisting with personal hygiene and hands-on care, and our direct care staff by assisting with the day-to-day operations within the group home.If you are an understanding leader, team-oriented, positive, and driven person; you will thrive with Easterseals Rehabilitation Center!

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO EASTERSEALS:

  • Education:High School Diploma, equivalent, or an Easterseals Reading Test.
  • Experience:Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or a degree or certificate in a related field.
  • Strengths:Organized, excellent communicator, strong leadership skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
