Aston Carter Administrative Assistant in Evanston, Illinois

  • Support either the clergy or the educational program related to the synagogue (two positions)

  • Both positions involve heavy data entry and data organization using Salesforce and Microsoft programs

  • Manage and help coordinate calendars and schedules of coworkers

  • Schedule and organize meetings and staff events

  • Manage respective email inboxes

  • Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned by management or colleagues

  • Provide administrative and clerical support as needed (filing, data entry, scanning, correspondence, email, meeting notes, etc.)

  • Provide front desk support to incoming congregation members, as well as some light phone support

  • Order office supplies, and supplies for congregation as needed

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an office or administrative capacity

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using MS Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
