M.A.C Cosmetics, AVEDA , SMASHBOX & Bumble&Bumble RDDC EMEA are looking to hire a VM & SD assistant to join the team starting January 2025

About the job:

EMEA RDDC team is responsible to guide and advise Europe, Middle-east, Africa, Russia and India affiliates on every initiative in store that brings to life the marketing calendar, according to the brand guidelines and DNA, aiming for the most impactful consumer journey and storytelling of our launches, heroes and permanent collections.” This includes supporting in developing brand store design concept, partnering with the affiliates in the development and execution of SD concepts and VM assets and layouts, collaterals & planograms guidelines.

About your responsibilities:

Support and collaborate with the SD & VM team in the execution of the following:

  • Initiate and develop tools to aid markets with keeping up to date with new collateral launches and new merchandising guidelines

  • Support VM team with launch & permanent displayers regional production (create brief / follow up)

  • Create or adapt the VM assets in conformity with brand equity and directions given by Global, Marketing and Creative teams.

  • Create Mockups (Photoshop) for each project to visualize the assets intentions

  • Develop technical drawings (DTO) of VM assets

  • Ability to develop VM guidelines

  • Update lineups, schematics, planogram for different store concepts

  • Good communication and coordination among various departments

  • Develop VM competition survey & identify best practices to scale

  • Adaptation of guidelines for the creation of spaces according to market demands

  • Production of 3D store images (SketchUp) for internal and external validation

  • Realization of preliminary plan packages (APS) to markets

  • Production monitoring (validation of shopfitters' technical plans, verification of production up to remote installation)

  • Support SD team with design layouts for all kind of formats and concepts

  • Support SD team with Plan set and Technical drawings corrections

  • Create 3D of new stores for markets validations

  • Follow up of all phases of a store opening

Qualifications

About you:

Minimum Education Level: Student of Graphic/Art school type of ENSAD, École Boulle, ENSAAMA, Penninghen, LISAA or interior design degree

Minimum Years and Area of Experience: Last year of study (Bac 5)

Required Language Proficiency : English & French both oral and written.

Additional Job Specifications:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) SketchUP, AutoCad & Microsoft Office (Powerpoint)

  • Able to adapt to both SD and VM project

  • Previous experience in graphism retail needed

  • Beauty experience will be highly appreciated / Sensibility in the cosmetics universe

  • Fluent English

  • Proactive, well organized, detail oriented and ability to work under tight deadlines
