WorkSource Oregon Assistant Commercial Loan Officer in Eugene, Oregon

This position is remote but must be able to travel within the Eugene, Medford, and Portland markets on a regular basis. Position Primary Purpose: - Manages relationships with existing business members, acting as primary point of contact for assigned relationships. Supports the Commercial Loan Officers with managing new relationships and acting as secondary loan officer on specific accounts. - Seeks cross-sell opportunities and directs members to other services and products available to meet their needs and generate business. - Assists with departmental sales calling efforts. - Performs due diligence required for pre-underwriting including the initial review of financial, entity, legal and other documents required for further underwriting. Assists with or completes preflights or other credit memos prepared for approval. - Reviews loan documentation prior to and after loan closing to determine accuracy and proper execution in conjunction with the Commercial Relationship Manager. - Supports the Commercial Lending Team by assisting in developing action plans for deteriorating credit relationships assigned. - Writes, coordinates, and reviews property inspections and commercial real estate evaluations for accuracy. - Provides excellent member service and coordinates effectively with other team members. - Assists in ensuring the department adheres to all regulations, policies, and procedures. Stays current on all industry trends and regulation changes. - Serves as a point of contact for all internal and external audits to help ensure satisfactory audit results. - Maintains contact and develops relationships with vendors. Keeps the Commercial Lending Management Team apprised of any issues, concerns, or opportunities. - Successfully complete the required compliance training annually. - All other duties as assigned. Demonstrated Abilities: - Working knowledge of commercial lending and deposit procedures, commercial and personal financial statement analysis, credit approval/annual review memos and loan documentation. - Complete knowledge of lending regulations. Maintains consistent high standards in areas of accuracy, thoroughness, completeness, and neatness of documentation, system input and correspondence. - Strong, well developed interpersonal, communication and interviewing skills to determine existing and/or potential members\' needs. Demonstrated ability to communicate with members in a professional manner which will enhance the Credit Union\'s overall image. - Demonstrated skills in member related account transactions. Ability to interpret and explain Credit Union policies and transactions posted to members\' accounts. - Ability to organize work in order to give prompt attention to member\'s request, while at the same time meeting deadlines for work processing. - Ability to function effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks and assignments. Capability for effective use of office machines and data processing systems to perform duties as required. - An ideal candidate would be someone who could eventually be developed into a full-time Commercial Loan Officer.
