Warehouse/Forklift Operator
$17.50/Hour
Mon to Fri, 6am-5pm
The Warehouse/Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and materials within a warehouse setting. This role involves operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move goods while ensuring safety and accuracy in inventory management.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products and materials.
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and adherence to quality standards.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Work with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, equipment usage, and safety checks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting or operating forklifts is advantageous.
Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow safety procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
$17.50/Hour
