Avera is currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

$25,000, $35,000 or $50,000 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary

  • The CRNA is accountable for providing anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients within Avera Holy Family

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree program, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field required.

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia preferred.

  • Previous experience as a CRNA is preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Upon hire

  • Licensed as an APRN in the State of Iowa and board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

  • Within three months

  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

  • Day shift

  • On call every other weekend

  • On call every other holiday

  • Will be on call 24/7 every other week
