The Hertz Corporation Franchise Analyst - Project Management in Estero, Florida
A Day in the Life:
The purpose of the Franchise Analyst is to support the Franchise team by maintaining and processing company database for the Licensees including legal documents, locations, revenue, royalties, fleet counts and accuracy and compliance with Insurance requirements, ABAC and company policies. The Franchise Analyst should also maintain and control all Licensee files and correspondence. Facilitate the Company record keeping and documents on the shared drive in a manner the franchise team, legal, accounting and others support teams can easily access. Manage/support yearly franchise conventions, all franchise events and meetings. This individual will also assist with administrative duties to further support the needs of the department and coordinate all communications with the franchise partners within the region. Direct support to the North America Operations department in gathering operations-related data and preparing reports.
The starting salary for this role is $60K; commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
Act as a liaison to Franchise operators on the following topics:
Ensure that their annual blackout dates are updated for Holiday and general promo codes.
Audit and verify that licensees have current Certificates of Insurance.
Assist with password resets.
Manage yearly/holiday offsells and promo offsells.
Additional Customer Service type requests.
Provide support with opening, closing and updating renting locations with Global Database Department (GDD)
Administrative duties to include:
Prepare and send communications/bulletin updates on compliance and regulatory notices such as policies and procedure changes, fees and other general info including holiday closures.
Conduct introductory training for new or existing licensees
Coordinate the licensees’ access to the Hertz systems (Hertz Partners, VPN and RAM systems, the Brand Zone, In Moment)
Keep multiple sites updated including Franconnect, Hertz Gold Pages directory & the Hertz Partners site
Submit office supplies requisitions in Oracle.
Analysis and Reporting
Analysis in support of key initiatives and preparation of related reports
Creating and maintaining financial models to track performance
Querying databases to extract data needed for analysis
Key Performance Indicator development and reporting
Billing & Accounting
Manage MVR Portal entries
Notify changes of the franchise agreements the accounting department
Customer Service:
Liaise with the Customer Service Department & the licensees to ensure prompt response & satisfactory resolution of cases.
Update and distribute Customer Service Contact List.
Franchise Agreements
Legal
Initiate and ensure the proper execution of the renewal/new franchise agreement package
Prepare initial Commercial Terms & Renewal Addendums forms (internal process with legal)
Request Amendatory Agreements
Draft extension letters, payment plans, and other legal documents required
Compliance
Create Initial profile for licensees in the Steele system and distribute link to complete ABAC questionnaire
Review and obtain approval from the Compliance Dept.
Credit
Collect and review franchise application
Coordinate letters of credit, if required
Coordinate between the franchisee and the credit dept. for approval
Audit
Provide support with audit information required by internal audit

0-2 years of administrative business experience with proficiency in project management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
