The Hertz Corporation Director Product Operations in Estero, Florida
A Day in the Life:
The Director – Product Operations will report to the Senior Director Product Operations collaborating across multiple departments to develop and deploy Product and Technology initiatives. This role will begin with a focus on HLE, Insurance Replacement, and the suite of counter systems and products. Successfully lead deployment and change management of initiatives in partnership with HR, Learning and Development, and respective business units.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with business owners across operations, fleet, sales, and customer experience to prioritize and inform Product and Technology projects.
Work with Product and Technology to develop and operationalize products.
Ensure projects are well defined, gather requirements, and prioritize milestones.
Deliver ‘operationally ready’ projects on time.
Lead deployment and change management through corporate training to ensure training strategies meet project needs and timelines.
Direct definition of implementation plans to ensure clarity for organizational and individual ownership for each component of the transition.
Drive expected performance during start-up, conversation and/or transition by providing a knowledgeable support team, coordinating on-site task lists and leading pre and post activities and meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
5 years of rental operations experience at Airport, HLE, TNC.
General knowledge of Fleet and Maintenance systems/processes required.
Previous project management experience
Experience working in cross functional teams
Bachelors Degree in business administration, computer science, or substantially similar field.
Knowledge of Hertz systems, data sources and organizational responsibilities a plus.
Knowledge of project and product management tools and processes Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
