The Hertz Corporation Director, Damage Field Operations in Estero, Florida
A Day in the Life:
As the Director of Damage Field Operations, you are responsible for leading a team of Damage professionals to supporting damage processes to include repair, salvage, liquidation and processing of vehicles. Ensure claims are completed with proper repairs being processed. Additionally, this position is responsible for implementing improvement processes within Body Damage and ensure that the teams are properly trained to complete all local steps to ensure that damaged vehicles are addressed quickly and accurately.
Starting salary is $95K; commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
· Responsible for defining strategies and goals to meet company metrics related to fleet damage
· Serve as the point of contact for the damage process and direct the work of the damage team to meet company objectives
· Developing team to quickly and efficiently process damage as related to customer damage of fleet, percentage of damage out of service, and timely repair process of fleet
· Review and monitor fleet reporting and address any vehicles that require action as well as insure the work in process times are staying below requirements
· Minimizing all cost related to the body damage process, and align with the operations organization to meet the needs of the business
· Direct the construction, design and facilitation of standard operating procedures to education staff and repair shops of the fleet damage repair process
What We’re Looking For:
· 5+ years’ experience in Damage or Maintenance Management
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain preferred
· Expert proficiency Excel, Tableau, and O365
· Licensed Appraiser in the field of Body Damage prefered
· Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
· Ability to influence
