Microsoft Corporation Financial Controller Modern Work & Security - Finland in Espoo, Finland
Our team is responsible for managing the Finance function in Finland, providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will support our sales teams and management in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future. As a Controller in our team, you will be responsible for working closely with the sales teams for Modern Work and Security (MW&S), providing accurate and timely information and insights to support sales. You will compile financial information and reports based on the rhythm of business and implement policies and procedures for financial reporting. Responsibilities
Provide team members and leaders with actionable insights, and recommendations formanaging sales and revenue.
Apply advanced understanding of Microsoft Finance and business to evaluate financial
models and forecasts, and complete all filings and reporting.
Contribute to new methods and approaches to data collection and analysis, and provide
teammates with advice on data management and operations.
Develop new ways to leverage analytics technology, and assimilate analysis results into a
clear narrative.
Review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports to support internal controls, and monitor control processes and procedures.
Manage accounting and financial compliance, and ensure team alignment with legislations
and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND experience of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
OR
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND experience of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience. Experience in Forecasting, P&L Analysis across multiple lines of business; Demonstrated experience in Matrix Organizations. Prompt engineering skills is an advantage, but not a requirement.
