Enterprise Performance Management software helps you analyze, understand, and report on your business. EPM refers to the processes designed to help organizations plan, budget, forecast, and report on business performance as well as consolidate and finalize financial results. EPM solutions are primarily used by CFOs and the office of finance, while other functional areas, such as HR, sales, marketing, and IT, use EPM for operational planning, budgeting, and reporting.

In order to continue our leading position in the market, an exciting, high-profile opportunity exists to join our growing EMEA Center of Excellence team as Enterprise Performance Management Principal Consultant.

The EPM consultant is responsible for designing, developing and supporting business solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle EPM Cloud. This covers all areas of the EPM portfolio including Financial Close and Planning and Forecasting.

  • Works on client-billable consulting and pre-sales assignments to lead the solution development

  • Works with sales and delivery to ensure solutions are both sellable and deliverable to a profit

Responsibilities

What is the Role?

We are looking for consultants capable of leading compelling solution development with clients ontheir EPM cloud strategies, architectures and roadmaps.

  • Analyse business requirements to support defining solution configuration

  • To lead the functional design process, including presenting and facilitating interactive design workshops

  • Identify the appropriate solution design based on the functional requirements and design elements contained in a system specification

  • Work in project teams comprising of local and global team members

  • To assist software developers with the creation of detailed software design specifications

  • At times, to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and constraints

  • To contribute to high level planning and implementation methodology of customer projects

  • To keep up to date on the latest functional and technical updates in the Oracle EPM Cloud solution

  • Coach, mentor and train junior consultants.

  • At times, travel may be required for customer engagements or key project workshops, however, the role provides full flexibility to work remotely and from the Oracle offices

What You’ll Bring

Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity will help us become the number one cloud company in Enterprise Performance Management. To be inquisitive and passion to work across diverse industries with some of the largest companies in the world

  • Education level: University degree in relevant field or relevant accounting / finance qualifications

  • Over 5 years of demonstrable experience with EPM or similar business intelligence solutions including activities such as business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solution delivery

  • Strong awareness of some of one or more EPM application products available in the market. Oracle Hyperion and Oracle EPM Cloud solution knowledge is desirable but not essential

  • Functional knowledge of major business processes and associated functionality in the EPM area

  • Previous consulting experience is desirable but not essential

  • Experience with interacting with third party resources, including offshore teams

  • Fluency in English and local language

  • Hiring location: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark
