Join Nespresso's Digital and Tech Enterprise Architecture team! We manage the Enterprise and Solution Architecture for Nespresso’s global application landscape, supporting all markets and HQ functions. Our architects drive innovation and new features for the business, all while spearheading a digital transformation to enhance our competitiveness and speed to market.
We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our dynamic Digital and Technical community. Our team is collaborative and supportive, working together to integrate cutting-edge technologies and deliver features essential for Nespresso’s continued success. You will engage with HQ business functions and markets to translate their needs into technical solutions, and collaborate with Product Architects and Developers to ensure successful implementation.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll work within a team of Enterprise and Solution Architects across the Nespresso Tech landscape. You'll handle multiple projects related to both transformation and business evolution, delivering End-to-End Solution Architecture and overseeing its implementation. Your clients will include Nespresso Businesses (B2B, B2C, Supply Chain Finance) and Markets, interacting with various teams including Product Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, DevOps, Compliance and Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
Develop and manage architecture for a broad range of applications/platforms (End-to-End Architecture).
Work closely with application architects to design architecture for specific applications or groups.
Deliver architectural designs and input to the roadmap, translating business needs into comprehensive technical solutions.
Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software products and services, and design standard and custom software configurations.
Define guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to align product decisions with the enterprise’s future-state architecture vision.
Integration:
Implement and integrate solutions, crafting integration strategies for cross-application purposes.
Lead the technical architecture implementation across product groups, ensuring alignment with business strategies and requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify organisational and financial impacts of solution architecture.
Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency:
Monitor current-state solution portfolio to identify technology deficiencies or misalignments with business requirements.
Document guidelines, standards, and solution architecture to ensure alignment with future-state architecture vision.
Oversee governance activities to ensure product architecture security, assurance, and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers, and Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in IT solution development disciplines (solution architecture, technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations).
Understanding of agile methods and capability to support agile project teams.
Ability to comprehend long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
Skill in translating future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure/network architecture.
Ability to estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.
Proficiency in English for effective communication at all organisational levels.
Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
Familiarity with diverse technologies and processing environments (REST/SOAP APIs, Event-driven architectures, micro-services, cloud, and on-premises solutions).
Experience documenting End-to-End architectures using UML diagrams.
Technology-neutral approach focusing on results.

Experience with Kafka.
Experience with API Gateway.
Experience with DevOps.
Experience with CRM and CDP (Customer Data Platform) systems.
