Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: 1400 Jamike Avenue Erlanger, KY, 41018
Shift: 1st (7:30 am - 3:30 pm)
Salary: $19.50/hr. to $30/hr. on W2 With full Benefits

Summary:

• CNC Machinist will be required to perform tasks related to program editing, set-up, operation, trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance for CNC machines, custom process machines and production support equipment.
• Read manufacturing prints, machine drawings and operator’s manuals, adjust tooling and process parameters, interpret programs and interact with Engineering to solve problems as well as optimizing operations.

• CNC Mill, Lathe, and Mill Turn Machining - 60% of time.
• Operation of 3 and 5 axis vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, and mill turn.
• Performs CNC set ups that may entail truing up locating surfaces.
• Capable to vet CNC programs and cutter selection on legacy CNC tooling.
• Responsible for training less skilled Machinists and Operators.
• Understands fundamentals of GD&T dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Electronically document in-process data to maintain QA and production system requirements.
• Measure, and record QA data; dimensions, serial numbers, etc.
• Knowledge of indicators, micrometers, and calipers to accurately align work holding.
• 2-4 Years of experience in CNC machines.
• Intermediate level knowledge of CNC software applications and strong understanding of CNC operating systems.
• Good knowledge of related technologies such as CAD-CAM.
