Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Product Program (cookie program) Specialist in Erie, Pennsylvania

Starting Salary:     $38,000

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

As the Product Program Specialist, you will provide customer service to members, caregivers, and customers by phone and email to support girls' success in the fall product (MagNut) and cookie programs.  The Specialist assists the team with timelines, communication, scheduling, data entry and look-up, and serves as the assistant to the Director of Product Program.

 

The essential functions of this position include the following:

  • Provide administrative support for all team correspondence, including emails, letters, and posts to relevant Teams channels. 
  • Assist with the office cookie cupboard that could include printing and assembling orders, assisting volunteers with pick-ups, and updating order inventory in the system.
  • Coordinate content for volunteer communications.
  • Work with MarComm to update product-related content on the website; work independently to update department forms and other program materials.
  • Monitor the department's queue in Salesforce, respond to or assign cases to team members, and assist in communicating with customers as needed.
  • Provide deadline reminders as necessary from department timelines.
  • Update the council calendar with department/team updates.
  • Support events, meetings, and trainings for volunteers.
  • Assist with data tracking and report preparation.
  • Provide technical support to volunteers, caregivers and staff on the many tech platforms used by the department.

     

Requirements:  

  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience which includes providing office and administrative support to management staff
  • 2 years of college education or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, and ability and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work while managing multiple deadlines in a continually changing work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deal with change
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Must be organized, detail orientated, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • General office hours Monday-Friday, with occasional extended hours
  • Office based, but occasional travel is required throughout western PA; must have reliable transportation
