THE PLASTEK GROUP is seeking great people for its Manufacturing Division located in Erie, PA. The Plastek Group is a multi-national custom plastics injection molder of consumer packaging for large companies such Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Church & Dwight and many others. Machine Technician
Duties include performing all required technical maintenance on plant production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machines. Math skills, excellent mechanical and electrical abilities are required. Also, blue print reading, OSHA understanding, LOTO, pneumatics and hydraulics, wiring, plumbing, programable logic controller skills, and computer literacy are required. 2nd and 3rd shift available.
Pay scale is $25-$32/hr.
Maintenance Mechanic
Duties include responsibility for mechanical repair of manufacturing equipment. Minor electrical repairs. Hydraulic repairs. Minor welding on equipment. Responsible for the identification of parts and part numbers and the requisition of parts. Ability to perform maintenance tasks on all equipment. 2nd and 3rd shift available.
Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of formal training and/or practical experience in the following areas: Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Welding.
Pay scale is $19-$25/hr.
Preventative Maintenance Mechanic
2nd and 3rd shift . Duties include responsibility for preventative maintenance. Oiling and greasing properly, Replacement of filters, Inspection, adjusting and/or replacement of worn parts, Cleaning of equipment. Inventory of oils, greases, filters, and supplies. Daily safety check on machines and equipment. Machine breakdown repair.
Pay scale is $18-$25/hr.
Shift differentials of $0.50/hr. for 2nd shift and $1/hr. for 3rd shift.
