UPMC Administrative Assistant - Associate (Safe Harbor Behavioral Health) in Erie, Pennsylvania

The Administrative Associate will support front desk services at UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor. In this role, you will be responsible for front desk duties and scheduling. You will join a team that is cross trained to cover a variety of responsibilities including monitoring phones, checking in patients, and scheduling.

As an ideal hire for this position, you will have previous experience in an administrative capacity and interacting with patients. This is a Monday through Friday, daylight position, 830a-4p. The dress code for this position is business casual and parking is provided on site at no cost to you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support.

  • Manages routine correspondence and clerical tasks.

  • Maintain office files and logs.

  • Handles incoming calls and messages.

  • Greet and direct visitors.

  • Scheduling patient appointments.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Up to one-year administrative experience preferred .

  • Working knowledge of word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software.

  • Ability to use applicable MS Suite products

  • Knowledge of business processes and procedures

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

  • Act 33 with renewal

  • Act 34 with renewal

  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
