Outdoor Organics, LLC DBA Kenosha Farms (Erie, CO) seeks Farm Supervisor to direct or perform irrigation, planting, soil preparation, cultivation, pruning, harvesting, and related horticulture activities. Oversee and assist workers where necessary in performing packing operations that may include tying, bunching, wrapping and packing, digging, and balling shrubs and trees. Mix chemical solutions such as fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides and spray plants. Drive or operate tractors and tractor-drawn machinery to grow and harvest nursery stock, plants, and trees, and haul and spread topsoil and fertilizer. Inspect crops, fields, or plant stock to determine conditions and need for cultivating, spraying, weeding, or harvesting. Direct or train workers in planting, harvesting, weeding, fertilizing, or insect identification and in the use of safety measures. Monitor operations to identify and solve problems. Confer with managers to determine production requirements, conditions of equipment and supplies, and work schedules. $39,395/year ($18.94/hr). Requirements: Work in all weather conditions. Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and twisting. Ability to lift 80 lbs. 6 months experience as farmworker. Email resumes to amy@organolawn.com.
