SNOW COLLEGE Administrative Assistant - Economic Development in EPHRAIM, Utah

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the Economic Development Director and team in achieving the college's economic development goals, collaborating with Snow College Continuing Education and the broader community.

Major Responsibilities/Duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Snow College Executive Director of Economic Development by scheduling appointments, attending meetings, maintaining a presence on campus, and supporting the director's role.
  • Assist the Continuing Education Director in coordinating the Continuing Education program by assessing community needs, scheduling courses, assisting instructors, attending classes when needed, managing payments and budgets, and implementing best practices.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in association with all other employees including faculty, staff, students, etc.; have honesty, integrity, loyalty to the institution and the department, and practice high ethical standards always; relationships built through the six-county service region is paramount to success.
  • Maintain an updated list of businesses in the service region, along with contact information and interactions.
  • Keep at the forefront an understanding of industry goals and needs in the six-county area
  • Demonstrate professionalism in association with all other employees including faculty, staff, students, etc.; have honesty, integrity, loyalty to the institution and the department, and practice high ethical standards always; relationships built through the six-county service region is paramount to success.

  • Customer service: Handling customer questions and concerns
  • Social Media Management. Has experience with social media platforms 
  • Content Creation/Graphic Design: Design and build graphics and flyers (preferably using Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Acrobat, or Canva)
  • Problem Solving: the process of designing, evaluating, and implementing a strategy to answer an open-ended question or achieve a desired goal
