ASRC Federal Holding Company Unlimited Mechanical Journeyman, HVAC/R Technician in ENID, Oklahoma

ASRC Federal Communications is seeking a Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Specialist in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Enid Oklahoma.

Responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC/R equipment and associated HVAC/R control systems. Maintains, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs industrial and commercial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment according to blueprints, manufacture installation manuals, and engineering specifications. Performs regular preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs building automation and control systems. Balances air and water in HVAC systems. Assists with performing water treatment for closed looped heating and cooling systems. Tests joints and insulates pipes of HVAC/R systems. Performs soldering/brazing, and uses shop equipment/test equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a State of Oklahoma approved apprentice program (technical, or trade school) or equivalent

  • Minimum of a State of Oklahoma Journeyman license and universal refrigerant handling certification

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing HVAC/R equipment and control systems in the commercial and/or industrial field

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to contract requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
