Dish Network Lead - Content Acquisition and Local Broadcast Operations in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado

Department Summary
Our programming teams draw on a variety of communication and networking expertise to connect DISH TV and Sling TV with partners across the world. They build upon our relationships with collaborators and leads, negotiate high-level contracts and work with content creators to drive creative solutions for our business and brand.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Work on cross-departmental projects, ranging from content licensing deals and negotiations (e.g., analyze trends, model financials, summarize contractual concepts, etc.) to administrative and tracking functions (e.g., internet based research and data entry)
Collaborate with internal teams (legal, technical, engineering, retention, customer service, IT, accounting, etc.) to support DISH’s local programming services
Work externally with local broadcast stations to support the rebroadcasting of their services on the DISH and Sling platforms
Work internally with the DISH legal teams (regulatory and transactional) to ensure local programming remains in compliance with FCC regulations and DISH retransmission consent agreements
Conduct ad-hoc analyses on program viewership and financials to support discussions with content partners
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (MBA a plus)
2-5 years of experience in the broadcast/media industry, project management, contractual review, and/or data analysis, or a combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Self-starter with strong data management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple requests, working both independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort communicating with executive leadership and the capability to build and maintain strong internal and external business relationships
Ability to work with technical teams to assist in the operational management of the DISH platform
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including strong excel skills) and Google applications
Experience analyzing contract language preferred
Negotiation/deal experience preferred
Knowledge of pay television industry preferred
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Compensation is also based on the role's location and may change depending on the work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check. The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
