The Early Career Training Team is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to join the team in Englewood, CO. This position will join a team responsible for early career pilot training products.

Be a part of a team developing and maintaining early career flight training courseware! The Instructional Systems Designer position will work with Subject Matter Experts and Media Specialist to develop and maintain flight training products.

In this role, you will design technical learning solutions to meet customer and stakeholder objectives. You will research and analyze learning objectives and customer needs. The selected candidate will design and provide recommendations to stakeholders on course structure, content, and methodologies, as well as completing the design review process with stakeholders. You will support development of training content to meet training objectives, and evaluate technical training effectiveness and customer feedback. Additionally, you will support developing and accessing new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery.

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 3 days every week at Englewood, CO.

Travel:

Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design flight training courseware and materials.

  • Assist with identifying training requirements, analysis, and documentation.

  • Reviews training materials for structure, flow, and learning objectives.

  • Develops online courseware with Subject Matter Experts.

  • Assist with development of printed training materials.

  • Review training materials for structure, flow, and learning objective alignment.

  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify appropriate observable behaviors for lesson objectives.

  • Writes clear and measurable objectives.

  • Software used includes:

  • Articulate Storyline

  • Adobe InDesign and InCopy

  • Microsoft Office

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2 or more years of experience with Articulate Storyline

  • 2 or more years of instructional design experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design or education, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with InCopy or InDesign

  • Experience developing flight training courseware

  • Pilot experience

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for the 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary pay range (Level 3): 87,550 – 118,450
