Apply today and get yourearnings when you want them! #hiring #dailypay #dailypaynationOBJECTIVE:The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day, tactical andpractical leadership of associates and teams across the entire retail center.RESPONSIBILITIES:Generally responsible for monitoring the whole retail center and addressingimmediate issues of safety, customer focus, product flow and aestheticseither personally or through delegation (aka "Management by Walking Around")Employee leadershipManages breaksRedirects staff/work teams to address call-offsCoaches employees verbally and with initial write-upsProvides input to reviews and terminationsFacilitates employee purchasesTask/Functional leadershipAssists in opening and closing proceduresResponsible for the verification step related to the daily sales reportpaperworkResponsible for counting drawersResponsible for making change between drawers and safeAssist with inventory process by counting, entering, verifyingCustomer FocusPlan, coordinate and control the activities of the customer service team tomaintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organizational andoperational objectivesFirst escalation point for customer complaintsPoint of contact for turning down donations at ADCCross-trainingMaintains knowledge of store procedures at the proficiency of a generalistwith the ability to occasionally fill in for an emergencyMaintains knowledge to the level where operations can be maintained in therare case where no Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager is able to be onpremises.QUALIFICATIONS:Previous supervisory experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredTwo years' retail experience desiredFamiliar with product pricing, trends, fashions and seasonal changesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically withcustomers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.Able to quickly problem solve and make decisions.Able to maintain confidentiality and follow Goodwill's policies andprocedures.Able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to 8 hours perday.Able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidayswith occasional overtime as necessary.Proficient in the utilization of office equipment, office software (i.e.Word, Excel) and web based applications (i.e. Ultipro, Novatime) tomeet the needs of employees and the organization.
