L3Harris Associate Manager - CP140 LCMM in Enfield, Nova Scotia

Job Description:

The Associate Manager - CP140 LCMM role is to direct the day to day activities of the Field Services Representatives and the CP140 LCMM Team in supporting the CP140 avionics systems in order to meet the demands of the operational fleet.

This is done by liaising with various parts of a greater team: DND; CP140 Programs Team; Engineering; Supply Chain Management; Repair and Overhaul; Contracts; Integrated Logistics Support; Configuration and Data Management. Ensuring the fleet and its maintainers are supplied with sufficient serviceable spare parts and components, reliable component repair and overhaul, and up to date technical data and the tools needed. Ultimate goal is to minimize aircraft downtime and increase aircraft availability.

System health monitoring and risk management are essential practices within the team. DND processes such as Corrective Maintenance Program Change (CMPC), Alternate Part Approval Form (APAF), Aircraft Inspection Change Proposal (AICP) and Aircraft Modification Approval Form (AMAF) are utilized for providing technical solutions and improvements to the aircraft platform.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direction and support to the CP140 avionics system support LCMM Team.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate progress of aircraft sustainment and betterment functions.

  • Provide technical support to DND maintenance and operating units.

  • Perform specialized avionics upgrades and modifications.

  • Provide technical support to technicians, supply personnel and engineers.

  • Carry out other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Technologist diploma or equivalent training and experience, preferably in a military environment.

  • Experience as a Life Cycle Materials Manager

  • Previous experience in the maintenance and support of DND avionics.

  • Familiarity with Canadian Air Force support infrastructure and processes.

  • Ability to work to Lead and Direct a diverse team of individuals.

  • Knowledge of CP140 avionics.

  • A working knowledge of the RCAF airworthiness polices.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of ADAM/DRMIS an asset.

  • Sufficient English language skills to be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

  • Ability to communicate in both official languages is considered an asset

  • Ability to write routine and complex reports and complete required performance metrics.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and convey ideas/information one-on-one and in group settings.
