We are looking for a Subcontracts Administrator to join our team managing the contractual activities with our key Suppliers to solicit and evaluate proposals, negotiate cost, prepare fixed price subcontracts, administer subcontract files, strengthen relationships at all levels with our Subcontractors and effectively manage their cost, quality, and delivery performance. In this opportunity you will make impacts in the following ways;

  • Procure materials, equipment, supplies and services for complex aircraft electronics based on program-specific requirements and specifications.

  • Develop Subcontracts in accordance with specifications, requirements, work statements, and terms and conditions.

  • Serves as the focal point when bids are received, reviews both the technical and cost proposals with program teams to address supplier exceptions through coordination with supporting program functions, develop evaluation criteria, negotiate subcontract provisions, select subcontractors based on best overall value, conduct cost analysis, write subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.

  • Consults with company staff representing the Legal, Technical, Financial, and Managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance.

  • Ensures the receipt, accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to subcontract deliverables, including invoices and resolving invoice issues if they arise.

  • Negotiates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and support invoicing resolution.

  • Responsibility for helping manage the cost, quality, technical, and delivery performance of appointed suppliers while building effective relationships with both suppliers and internal/external customers.

  • Follow established Procurement policies and procedures to provide the best value for the program, consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements while maintaining strong Supplier relationships.

  • Effectively communicate Subcontract performance internally and externally, prepare and present Subcontractor briefings to Programs and Management, and proactively adopt best practices that support key business initiatives, including Zero Defect Planning and AS9145 initiatives with Suppliers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor s Degree and 2 years of work experience within a Contracts/Procurement/Subcontracts organization.

Negotiation skills and ability to find solutions.

Proficient use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Excellent time management/organizational skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations policies and procedures, FAR/DFAR.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
