Job Description:

Warehouse Supervisor - Enderlin, ND

This position is responsible for managing warehouse employees, overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, identifying opportunities for improvements in warehouse processes to maximize efficiencies for receiving and storage of materials, managing inventory levels to support processes and ensure the efficient delivery of goods and materials,

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise warehouse staff to ensure activities are performed safely and efficiently.

  • Training and development of employees.

  • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.

  • Monitor inventory levels, and order supplies to replenish inventory levels as needed.

  • Review orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

  • Maintain records, prepare necessary documentation, and report relevant information to management.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts.

  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.

  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments and customers.

  • Organize warehouse to improve process flow, and maintain inventory and storage areas.

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a supervisor/manager in a warehouse or similar operations role is required.

  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics is required

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams, and collaborating with employees, colleagues, and management teams to drive sustained improvements in processes and efficiencies is required.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

  • A bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field is preferred, but will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience instead of a degree.

  • Experience working with Maximo or a similar CMMS program is preferred.

  • Experience working with SAP and other computer software/systems is preferred.

  • A mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of manufacturing parts and equipment is preferred.
