Ensures company assets are utilized to produce the highest quality of seed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensures seed quality by meeting required standards, minimizing cleaning losses and ensuring accuracy of seed treatment.

Operate packaging line, treating equipment and mixing seed treatment.

Basic troubleshooting of equipment and ability to make minor repairs.

Preserves value of seed to minimize loss.

Assists with receiving in raw products.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principals of inventory management and mechanics.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs. as needed.

Will be required to work hours other than those considered "normal" to meet seasonal demands.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
