BeiGene Manager, Commercial Supply Chain in Emeryville, California
General Description:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible and accountable for transactional management, execution and reporting of procurement activities such as subcontract PO placement, PO maintenance, goods issuances, goods receipts and sales order entry and maintenance for external partners. In this role, you will use your experience in an ERP,SAP and GMP environment
Responsibilities:
Assist with SAP Movement Transitions (plant to plant, GR receipts and sub-contract W/O issuances)
Creation of non-manufacturing orders within Ariba for CMO’s
Creation and maintenance of sales orders for outbound shipments to external partners
Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
Monthly reconciliation with CMO’s and 3PL (Demonstrate Controls per SOX Compliance)
Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
Invoice management with CMO’s and internal Accounts Payable
Competencies:
3-7+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. Experience with lot-level inventory management, chain of custody and traceability, budget management, warehousing technologies, in a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment
Understands comprehensive global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g. cGMP, GDP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 13) and knowledgeable of relevant commercial laws and regulatory guidelines.
Experience working in a global, complex supply chain organization within the biopharma industry.
Strong understanding of supply chain ERP transaction movements
Experience in vendor oversight and managing external partnerships and relations
Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence and perform as an influential leader without positional authority
Strong ability to collaborate and build strategic relationships with internal (Commercial planning, Quality, CMC, etc) as well as external (3PLs, CMOs, Couriers, etc.) stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
Excellent organizational skills, enough to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management or similar required.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Ariba, and SAP ERP system
Experience with a warehouse management system is a plus
Other Qualifications:
Experience in vendor oversight and managing external partnerships and relations.
Familiarity with risk management tools (FMEA, etc).
Due to the global nature of the company early morning or evening meetings are required
