Job Title: Chemical Operator

Job Description

Perform kettle and holding tank washouts compliant with the department and/or formula requirements. Record raw material requirements, lot/batch numbers, and consumed quantities on required paperwork and container labels. Submit samples of formula and raw materials to QC for testing and approval. Ensure formula batches meet required specifications by following Production Order Instructions and procedures within the Compounding Departments. Safely use tools such as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer raw materials and formulas. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Wear applicable PPE required in different plant areas and adhere to the Production Floor Employee Dress Code. Execute assigned housekeeping in Compounding work areas to ensure a safe, clean environment. Replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors to ensure safe, clean material transfer. Assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps. Operate forklift and/or pallet jack as needed.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Na, Georgia.

Work Environment

Chemical environment, clean and well-lit. 3 openings - 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM. 1 opening - 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:30PM-7:00AM. Mandatory overtime: 1st shift consistently working until 6:00PM and 3rd shift consistently coming in at 8:30PM.
