Nickle Plate Bar & Grill Cook in Elysburg, Pennsylvania
Knoebels is America's largest free-admission amusement park and offers free parking, entertainment and picnic facilities in Elysburg, PA. We are family-owned, 4th generation driven to exceed our customers' expectations by providing exceptional service and progressing continuously. We are currently seeking a cook to prepare food orders for our restaurant guests in a safe friendly manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items as much as is appropriate, prior to orders being taken
- Receive food orders from coworkers and complete food order accurately
- Stock food and supplies
- Ask for help or supplies when needed
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Report any problems with equipment immediately
Requirements:
- Passion for people!
- Age 16 or older
- Be available evenings and weekends
- Exceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional manner
- Self-motivated; acts without needing direction from others
- Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Prior experience and customer service experience is a plus
.Physical Demands:
- Working in an indoor air conditioned environment
- Lift up to 20 pounds and transfer equipment/supplies as needed
- Ability to move throughout the Resort as needed including constant standing and walking
