Job Details Level Entry Job Location Elyria, OH 44035 - VSI - Elyria, OH Education Level Not Specified   Salary Range $10.10 - $10.10 Hourly Job Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Description Location: 359 Lowell St. Elyria, OH Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. FLSA: Nonexempt The general laborer will be responsible for completing the following job duties: Assembly, inspection, sorting, packaging, housekeeping, and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Some assignments include painting nozzles and engraving Maintains a clean work area. This includes putting things away at the end of the day and/or when the job is complete such as tools, parts, etc. Regular attendance. Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, program participants, co-workers and supervisors. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required. No prior experience or training. Must be able to count, manipulate small pieces for inspection and/or packaging, and ability to visually inspect pieces to spot flaws to maintain quality control based on customer specifications. Works safely so as not to cause injury to yourself or others. Follow all directions regarding safety, quality, production, etc. Able to operate pallet jack, 2 wheel dollies, and carts safely as needed.
