Shifts: 4p-12a and 12a-8p

In this role you would be responsible for variety of ultrasound procedures and assisting in the medical diagnosis and assessment of patients.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

  • Valid certification in Sonography issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Performs more advanced ultrasound procedures on patients.

  • Assists physicians and other health care personnel by providing information regarding the nature, scheduling or results of procedures performed within the Ultrasound Department.

  • Assists in the development of new tests by performing comparison studies and clinical trials, and implements these new procedures.

  • May plan, schedule, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure the continuous flow of work.

  • Selects appropriate software and imaging parameters, when positioning and adjusting equipment to encompass the area to be studied and produce optimal diagnostic imaging quality.

  • Conducts training programs in ultrasonography and monitors effectiveness of programs.

  • Effectively uses electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and access pertinent patient data and imaging results; keeps other detailed and accurate patient records and results.

  • Participates in departmental meetings, internal/external quality assurance/performance improvement (QA/PI) activities and training, as required.

  • Performs the work of the Ultrasound Technologist and other related duties, as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $84,772-$84,772/year
