Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating multiple machines. The role involves basic setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal production and efficiency. Candidates will be responsible for loading and unloading machines while performing basic inspection tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform basic setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting of machinery.
Reload tape machines and un-jam them as necessary, using proper tagout procedures.
Perform machine changeovers from 8 pack to 6 pack.
Adjust machinery for optimal production and efficiency.
Monitor product for leakers and take necessary steps to ensure product quality.
Perform all necessary quality checks and testing as determined by the Quality Department or management.
Review product specifications to ensure correct packaging material is being utilized and label coding is accurate.
Operate and unjam elevators safely and effectively.
Wash casers, elevators, and conveyors to maintain safe and sanitary operations.
Essential Skills
1+ year of machine operating experience.
High school diploma.
Ability to do basic math.
Read and write in English.
Basic computer skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
