Job Summary Central Washington University is recruiting a part-time Allied Construction Career Launch Program Coordinator to join our College of Education Professional Studies (CEPS) Deans Operating team in Ellensburg, Washington. We're offering a salary, depending on experience, from $20,862 - $27,792 annually (adjusted per 0.5 FTE) plus the awesome CWU benefits. The Role: The Program Coordinator for the Allied Construction Career Launch Program will assist with employer engagement by coordinating advisory boards, recruitment events, and career fairs. The Program Coordinator will support the construction management program as needed with career information sessions and alumni outreach. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating program-specific student support services, and wraparound supports, developing and implementing program recruitment and marketing materials, and maintaining relationships within the construction industry. All employees are expected to facilitate CWU's commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment. Job Duties Program Coordination: - Coordinate access to allied construction programs located in Ellensburg, WA, online and CWU Centers. - Provide program information and support to prospective students and independently respond to inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and school/community partners regarding allied construction programs. - Plan, schedule, and conduct site orientations in collaboration with centers and allied construction program faculty and staff. - Coordinate advisory boards, recruitment events, and career fairs. - Plan and coordinate program-specific student support services and wraparound supports - Monitor course and program needs and provide information and recommendations to Academic Advisors and departments. - Exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying rules, policies, procedures, etc. - Coordinate and monitor program activities to determine consistency with program goals; promote the program. - Attend meetings as program representative.
