Cecil County Government Family Violence Programs Therapist (LMSW) in Elkton, Maryland
Provide therapeutic services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking who are experiencing symptoms of trauma, or other mental health concerns. Additionally, this position will provide crisis intervention services for shelter residents.
Duties: Include providing on-site, time-limited, comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking (services will be provided to both sheltered and non-sheltered clients); completing intake process and assessments on all prospective clients; developing and updating treatment plans; making appropriate referrals to other community resources; maintaining case records; gathering and compiling data needed to complete quarterly statistical reports; facilitating therapeutic groups, as needed; and perform all other duties as assigned.
