Dynamic Metals LLC Scanner-Operator Programmer in Elkhart, Indiana
Advanced programing, set-up, and operation of Scanner/operator. Maintain and train new and existing employees in new techniques. Develop and perform in-process and final inspection parts and assemblies as well as perform functional tests to final products.
Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Program the Scanner to measure per drawing specifications.
- Store programs per procedures
- Determine conformance of products based on data received from SCANNER.
- Report and document non-conformances, CARs, and continuous improvements
- Coordinate and support all activities concerning the SCANNER, including programming.
- Develop and implement new programs and measurement methods to be used for quality control inspections.
- Proficiently utilize measuring tools, Excel spreadsheets, ERP system, and SCANNER software
- Follow work order instructions, visual aids, routers, and AS9100/AS13100 processes.
- Assist in calibration, non-destructive testing, and certifications.
- Participate in quality audits.
- Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects.
- Demonstrate safe work habits.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements.
- Assist in other departments as needed.
- Fill out AS9102B Form 3 documents as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Safety glasses with side shields as required.
- Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required.
- Gloves as required.
- Earplugs as required.
- Welding hood, jacket, face shield, and/or gloves as required.
- Fire Retardant (FR) clothing as required.
- N-95 mask or respirator as required.
- Seat belts required on all forklifts.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Detail oriented
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated.
Ability to read and interpret GDandT blueprints.
Capacity to use a variety of quality measuring equipment such as, but not limited toheight gages, calipers, micrometer, radius gages, etc
