Our client is a global manufacturer of food ingredients & bio-Industrial, animal nutrition products and they are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their distinguished team!
Located in Minneapolis, MN
Pay : $17-20/hour
Schedule: 1st shift
Job Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Complete routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of the food safety quality and operational teams.
Conduct day to day tasks supporting a molecular biology and fermentations R&D teams.
Keep up with daily activities which will include, along with other general support duties, media and plate preparation, restocking of lab supplies, cleaning and sterilization of glassware, collecting and autoclaving waste, and maintaining the lab support areas of the lab.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
1 year of laboratory experience
The preferred candidate will have some lab experience and a good understanding of sterile techniques and excellent biosafety behaviors.
