Job Title: Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to operate web printing presses, ensuring the production of high-quality prints. You will lead and direct the press crew, maintain the press, and handle other operational duties as assigned by supervisors. Key responsibilities include setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining gravure or multi-color offset presses. You will review job specifications, perform make-ready tasks, make necessary color corrections, and maintain the press by cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs. Additionally, you will act as a leader in promoting a safe work environment, ensure the overall quality of the printed product, produce sample-quality products, and provide accurate documentation. Effective communication with other crews and departments and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program are also crucial aspects of this role. This position requires working shifts from 7pm to 7am, 3 days on and 4 days off, rotating every 8 weeks.
