Closet Factory Project Manager - Cabinet Manufacturing in Elk Grove, California

Title: Project Manager - Cabinet Manufacturing   Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all stages of our cabinet manufacturing projects, from initial design through to final installation. The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.   Key Responsibilities: * Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans working with designers, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and scope. Ensure that all project milestones and deadlines are met. * Client Relations: Serve as the main contact for clients, keeping them informed on project status and addressing any concerns promptly. * Site Visits: Conduct site visits as needed to verify dimensions and manage client relations. * Team Coordination: Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure alignment on project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. * Quality Control: Monitor project activities to maintain high standards of quality, ensuring all cabinets meet company and client specifications. * Budget Management: Track expenses, manage project budgets, and work with finance teams to ensure profitability. Ensure invoices for projects are submitted.  Issue and track change orders ensuring all impacted staff are aware of changes. * Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement of materials, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of resources. * Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as necessary to address unforeseen issues. * Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management, including timelines, budgets, and any issues encountered.   Qualifications: * Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience in manufacturing, cabinetry, or a related industry. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus. * Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools) and ERP systems. * Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.   Key Competencies:   * Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to managing projects. * Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. * Leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.   Why Join Us?   This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated project manager to grow their career within a dynamic and supportive team.
