Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Industrial Maintenance Technician
Join an exciting industrial maintenance team where you will focus on setup, production
launch, ongoing maintenance and enhancement of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, and electrical systems.
Work Environment
The facility is a massive manufacturing facility hiring for its maintenance team. The facility is new construction, clean, and climate-controlled.
You will perform troubleshooting, investigate equipment failures, and enhance production efficiency of highly automated equipment including automated manufacturing technologies, control system equipment, sensors, vision system, PLCs, electrical systems and more.
Work Experience Preferred:
Experience working in an Industrial Maintenance environment with responsibility for breakdown response, predictive and preventive maintenance.
Experience performing troubleshooting, conducting equipment failure investigations, and providing solutions to ensure smooth production operations.
Technical Experience Preferred
Knowledge of electrical control systems, automation systems & manufacturing technologies including PLC programming, robotics, and vision systems and process control systems.
Intermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits, Motor Controls (VFD, Servo)
Fundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Educational & Training Requirements
Highly preferred that candidates have completed technical
training or technical educational credential.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
· Industrial Maintenance Certificate
· Journeyman Card
· Associates Degree in Industrial
Technology, Automation, or other related field
· Robotics Certificate or Certified
Other Technical Trainings (Must be completed)
· Automation OEM Trainings
(Examples: Allen Bradley, GE Proficy, Schneider
Electric, Mitsubishi (MELSEC), Toyopuc, Omron, Siemens (SIMATIC), ABB (AC500),
Honeywell (ControlEdge))
· OR, 7 years of verified experience in an
Industrial Maintenance role(s)
