Coastal Staffing Lead Mechanical Engineer in Elizabeth City, North Carolina
Responsible for completing assigned engineering tasks that may include product design, existing product modification, research and development of product, production - related support tasks, and technical assistance to other departments, customers, and vendors. The employee will be also responsible for product designs per specifications provided by the Engineering Manager, conduct design and testing in support of assigned new product development. Conduct product research for tasks assigned, produce drawings with details to allow a skilled draftsperson to reduce them to production level for customers and sales support. Assist in the compilation of relevant technical data required for customers, occasionally assist with product field troubleshooting and/ or service issues. Be able to prepare and process Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
