Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day and is willing to be cross-trained in various areas. The role involves working through a 12-step process, ensuring the quality and functionality of modems at each stage.
Responsibilities
Documenting received items
Performing factory resets by manually pressing a button
Conducting automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units
Executing Wi-Fi tests
Performing elevated temperature tests
Conducting cosmetic cleaning
Carrying out cosmetic repairs
Performing In Process Quality Control (IPQC)
Kitting
Building pallets and packing out for shipment
Shipping completed kits
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hand dexterity
Punctuality
Experience in assembly, packing, retail, repair, refurbishing, stock management, quality inspection, soldering, testing equipment, using RF scanners, computers, reading blueprints, and using power tools

Work Environment
You will work in a brand-new facility built specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located close to major roads, gas stations, and restaurants.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
