Commercial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Painter with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in caulking and prepping surfaces prior to painting. Experience with the person/roll application is mandatory, and spray-painting experience is a plus. Candidates must have their own tools, reliable transportation, and full PPE (hard hat, high vis vest, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses). Required tools include paintbrushes, rollers, paint tray, 5-in-1 tool, putty knives, and a sanding block.
Hard Skills
Minimum 3 years commercial painting experience
Proficiency in the person/roll application
Spray painting experience (preferred)
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Elgin, Illinois.
Work Environment
You will be painting commercial and large multi-unit complexes with teams of 5-10 painters. Typical hours are 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Painters whites and full PPE must be worn at all times (hard hat, high visibility vest, work boots, and safety glasses).\
