Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet all day and is capable of working well with others. This role involves cross-training in various areas of a 12-step process to handle and refurbish modems.
Responsibilities
Receiving: Documenting what is received.
Factory Reset: Manually pressing a button to reset devices.
Automatic Test (Plug In): Plugging in up to 32 units to determine necessary repairs (cycle times of 60-90 minutes).
Wi-Fi Test: Conducting tests to ensure proper Wi-Fi functionality.
Elevated Test: Performing temperature tests on devices.
Cosmetic Clean: Cleaning devices to improve appearance.
Cosmetic Repair: Making minor cosmetic repairs.
In Process Quality Control (IPQC): Ensuring quality standards during processing.
Kitting: Preparing kits for packaging.
Pack Out/Pallet Build: Palletizing kits for shipment to customers.
Shipping: Preparing items for shipment.

Experience in assembly and packing
Experience in repair and refurbishment

Work Environment
This role is based in a brand new facility specifically built for our operations. The facility features a locker area and a cafeteria with refrigerators and microwaves. Located in Elgin, IL, it is conveniently situated close to gas stations and restaurants.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
